Your Pro Pass
A Pro Pass is a file you load. It is verified on your own machine, offline, against a key built into the app. There is no FunGen account or sign-in. The pass term and the current licence determine when it unlocks Pro AI.
Buying a Pro pass on Patreon
The Patreon buttons for Pro 1 year and Pro Perpetual on our pricing page are one-time purchases, not monthly memberships. The first gives Pro access for one year; the second has no expiry date, subject to the licence.
- Choose your plan and its Patreon button. On Patreon, choose Buy post (the wording may be translated), not Join now.
- Sign in to Patreon or create an account. Check the selected item and the final total, including any taxes, before confirming payment. You do not need a paid membership.
- Keep your receipt. You can reopen the purchased post from Patreon's Purchases section or the receipt link.
- Message FunGen on Patreon with your email address to request your pass, as instructed in the purchased post. Pass issuance is manual, not instant. Your FunGen pass email is separate from the Patreon receipt.
Once you receive your pass file, save a copy. In FunGen, choose Help > Unlock FunGen Pro…, then Have a pass? Activate. Import the file and follow the confirmation prompts using the issued-to details supplied with it. Check that Pro access is active.
If payment or delivery is unclear
Check your email's spam folder. If you have a receipt but no pass, or cannot complete checkout, email support@fungen.app. Include the plan and, if payment succeeded, your Patreon order ID and purchase email. Do not buy again to resolve a missing pass, send card details or publish your pass file. Opening a purchase page does not charge you; you can leave before confirming payment. For a completed purchase or refund request, contact support before paying again.
Monthly Patreon memberships are a separate option. Their monthly pass-claim instructions do not apply to these one-time purchases. See Patreon's purchase help for account, receipt and checkout guidance.
Using the pass
- Reinstalling or upgrading FunGen does not by itself breach the pass terms.
- A new computer, a wiped disk, a reinstalled operating system, or new hardware does not by itself breach the pass terms.
- You may install it on machines you own or control, for use on one machine at a time.
- The pass is personal and non-transferable; another person may not use it.
- FunGen can verify the pass while offline.
- A review, bug report, complaint, disagreement or other opinion about FunGen is not a breach of the licence.
When Pro access ends
A time-limited pass ends on the date printed in it. A monthly FunGen Patreon membership pass follows its membership term. A one-off pass purchased through Patreon follows the one-year or perpetual term purchased. A Pro Perpetual pass has no expiry date.
During a pass term, the licence identifies three relevant cases:
- The payment behind it was reversed. A refund you asked for, or a chargeback. The pass was issued against a payment that no longer exists.
- The pass was shared, published, leaked or resold. A pass is for one person and cannot be obtained legitimately from a third party.
- The pass was not issued by FunGen, or the software was altered to bypass the terms. A counterfeit file is not a FunGen licence.
What this affects
A pass ending or ceasing to qualify stops it unlocking Pro AI. It does not delete your local videos, projects or funscripts. The full wording is in the FunGen licence.
